An abandoned coal-fired power plant provided the structural framework and exterior enclosure for a new housing development. Prior to its redevelopment, the building was used from 1885 to 1976 to provide electricity and water to the community.

The remaining half was retained for the use of indoor parking and common areas. The one, two and three bedroom apartments all varied in size, plan and configuration depending their location with-in the building.
